Itinerary

Day 01

Pickup, Guwahati-Dirang (300km/9hours)

  • Pick-up from Guwahati hotel or airport at 8:00 AM

  • Departure for Dirang, Arunachal Pradesh

  • Travel time: 8-9 hours

  • Scenic journey with narrow roads and natural landscapes

  • Arrival in Dirang by 5-6 PM

  • Overnight stay in Dirang

Day 02

Dirang Sightseeing

  • Visit Dirang Monastery for Buddhist culture

  • Explore Sangti Valley with Himalayan views

  • Interact with indigenous communities in tribal village

  • Learn about local architecture and cuisine

  • Experience natural hot springs for relaxation

Day 03

Dirang to Tawang (140km/6hours)

  • Check-out from Dirang hotel after breakfast

  • Depart for Tawang

  • Stop at Nyukmadung War Memorial to honor soldiers of 1962 Indo-China War

  • Short halt at Sela Pass (13,700 ft) and Sela Lake

  • Visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial en route

  • Have tea and snacks at army canteen

  • Arrival in Tawang around 6-7 PM

  • Overnight stay in Tawang

Day 04

Tawang Sightseeing 

  • Breakfast followed by local sightseeing in Tawang

  • Visit Tawang Monastery, one of the oldest and largest Buddhist monasteries

  • Explore Tawang Monastery Museum for history and culture of Monpas and Tawang

  • Visit the oldest ani gompa (nunneries monastery)

  • See Do or Die viewpoint and Giant Buddha Statue

  • Explore Handicraft Centre for local handmade products

  • Visit Tawang War Memorial and Tawang Market

  • Attend evening light and sound show at War Memorial

Day 05

Bumla Border, Sangetsar lake

  • Depart for Bum La Pass after breakfast

  • Experience breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains en route

  • Visit Sangetsar Lake (Madhuri Lake) after Bum La Pass

  • Explore Gurudwara Sahib Teesri Udassi temple

  • Stop at Heart Lake, Naghula Lake, and Pangateng Tso Lake (PT Tso)

  • Return to Tawang hotel

  • Optional: Explore Tawang market

(Please note that sightseeing in these places would require you to hire a local taxi and hence it is optional. Also, the Bum La Pass visit is subjected to road clearance by the Indian Army)

Day 06

Tawang-Bomdila (180km/7hours)

  • Depart for Bomdila after breakfast

  • En route, visit Jang waterfall, also known as Nuranang Waterfall

  • Admire the 100m high magnificent waterfall

  • Stay overnight in Bomdila

  • Optional: Visit Bomdila's local market if time permits

Day 07

Bomdila- Guwahati (280km/8hours)

  • Depart early for Guwahati

  • Return via Rupa Valley route, enjoying natural landscapes

  • Drop-off at Guwahati airport, rail station, or hotel

  • Conclude journey with sweet memories of Northeast India

Inclusion and Exclusion

Inclusion

  • Accommodation as mentioned sharing basis and mentioned meal plan.

  • All transportation will be organized by us through an dedicated air-conditioned vehicle with a professional driver.

  • Breakfast is included in the package.

  • Inner Line Permit for Arunachal Pradesh and processing fees cost is included.

  • Cost of 1 jeep safari with a dedicated jeep in Kaziranga National Park is included in the package.

  • Cost of 1 elephant safari in a shared elephant ride in Kaziranga National Park, subjected to availability, is included in the package.

  • Pickup and drop from Guwahati Airport / Railway station/Bus station.

  • All sightseeing, land transfer & inter hotel transfer.

  • Driver allowance, Toll, Parking, Road Tax, Fuel charge, night halt, Interstate charges, Kaziranga Forest toll and forest guard welfare fees are included.

  • Child below 5 yrs sharing same bed with parents will be complimentary and will be according to hotel rules.

Exclusion

  • All personal expenses including all other activities not mentioned in the itinerary.

  • Meals those not available on the itinerary.

  • 5% GST will be charged on the total cost.

  • Optional around Tawang sightseeing (Bumla Pass, PTSO Lake, Naghula Lake, Sangester Lake etc.) taxi fare is not included in the package (Mandatory local taxi required for sightseeing).

  • Entry fees of sightseeing spots, camera fees and optional activity/service costs like Rafting, Trekking, Guide fees etc are not included in the package.

  • Anything not mentioned in the ‘Inclusions’ part.

  • For Foreign Nationals, surcharges like national park entry fees, Protected Area Permit and mandatory guide fees (for Arunachal State trips) are excluded.

Terms and Conditions

  • Rates are calculated based on the hotels mentioned.

  • Explore Tawang assures there are NO HIDDEN CHARGES at Paradise Northeast.

  • If anyone requests extra payment during your journey, please inform us immediately. We cannot be held responsible if you pay without our knowledge and consent.

  • Booking confirmation requires advance payment.

  • If rooms at specified hotels are unavailable, we will notify you and offer alternative options.

  • If you are unsatisfied with the alternatives, we will refund your advance payment after deducting a service charge of INR 1,000.

  • Hotels are chosen according to your budget and our feedback system.

  • Star category hotels may not be available everywhere, but we provide the best options based on your tour category.

  • Some hotels may have special tariffs for gala/dinner events like Christmas or New Year's Eve. Additional charges are not included in the package cost.

  • The dedicated vehicle is provided for your itinerary only; it is not at your disposal.

  • Tawang's local laws prohibit outside vehicles for sightseeing. We may need to arrange a local vehicle, but we cannot guarantee its quality.

  • Credit cards/traveler's checks may not be accepted everywhere.

  • Roof carriers are not permitted in vehicles in this region; pack luggage accordingly.

  • Check the weather of your destinations and pack appropriate clothing.

  • Woolen clothes, jackets, raincoats/umbrellas are advisable.

  • Review hotel locations and ratings to ensure they meet your preferences before confirming.

  • Any extra breakfast for kids not mentioned must be paid directly by the guest as per hotel policy.

  • Explore Tawang reserves the right to upgrade hotel or vehicle type at no extra charge, but we never downgrade.

  • Guests must present original photo identification like Passport, Voter ID Card, or Driving License at hotel check-in.

  • Rates on the website are subject to change due to various reasons. For an accurate quotation, provide exact tour dates.

  • Normal hotel check-in is 2 PM and check-out is 11 AM, subject to change per hotel policies. Meal timings and inclusions follow hotel policies.

  • Explore Tawang is not liable for acts of God, sanitation issues, lack of medical care, weather conditions, strikes, terrorism, war, quarantines, embargoes, criminal activities, or any event beyond our control. We are not responsible for additional costs incurred due to such events.
