Itinerary

Day 01

Pickup, Guwahati-Dirang (300km/9hours)

  • Arrival in Guwahati, either at airport or lodging, around 8 AM

  • Departure for Dirang, our first destination

  • Journey spans 8-9 hours, entering Arunachal Pradesh

  • Traverse winding paths with natural splendor

  • Pass through quaint hamlets and verdant landscapes

  • Arrival in Dirang by late afternoon, around 5-6 PM

  • Accommodation provided for the night

Day 02

Dirang Sightseeing

  • Visit serene Dirang Monastery for Buddhist culture

  • Venture into picturesque Sangti Valley with Himalayan views

  • Explore local tribal village, interact with indigenous communities

  • Experience natural hot springs for rejuvenation

  • Blend of cultural immersion and natural wonders in Northeast India

Day 03

Dirang to Tawang (140km/6hours)

  • Check out from Dirang hotel after breakfast

  • Depart for Tawang

  • Stop at Nyukmadung War Memorial to honor soldiers of 1962 Indo-China War

  • Short break at Sela Pass (13,700 ft) and Sela Lake

  • Visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial en route

  • Enjoy tea and snacks at army canteen

  • Arrival in Tawang by early evening, around 6-7 PM

  • Settle in for a restful night after an adventurous day

Day 04

Tawang Sightseeing 

  • Breakfast followed by local exploration in Tawang

  • Visit renowned Tawang Monastery, one of the oldest and largest in the world

  • Explore Tawang Monastery Museum for insights into Monpas and Tawang culture

  • Venture to oldest ani gompa and Do or Die viewpoint for panoramic views

  • See Giant Buddha Statue and visit Handicraft Centre for local products

  • Pay respects at Tawang War Memorial

  • Explore bustling Tawang Market for souvenirs

  • Return to War Memorial for evening light and sound show

Day 05

Bumla Border, Sangetsar lake

  • Depart after breakfast for Bum La Pass at 15,200 feet

  • Enjoy mesmerizing vistas of snow-capped mountains en route

  • Visit Sangetsar Lake, known as Madhuri Lake from "Koyla"

  • Pay respects at Gurudwara Sahib Teesri Udassi temple

  • Stop at Heart Lake, Naghula Lake, and Pangateng Tso Lake (PT Tso)

  • Return to hotel in Tawang after exploration

  • Optional: Explore bustling Tawang market

(Please note that sightseeing in these places would require you to hire a local taxi and hence it is optional. Also, the Bum La Pass visit is subjected to road clearance by the Indian Army)

Day 06

Tawang-Zimithang Sightseeing(200km/10hours)

  • Depart after breakfast for Zimithang, approximately 100 kilometers from Tawang

  • Admire picturesque hills and border regions with China and Bhutan

  • Keep an eye out for black-necked crane, a rare avian species

  • Visit Gorchem Chorten, a towering 100-foot Buddha stupa

  • Pay homage at Gorchem Chorten

  • Stop at Tara Devi temple in Lum La on the way back to Tawang

  • Return to Tawang and retire for the night in accommodations

Day 07

Tawang-Bomdila (180km/7hours)

  • Depart after breakfast for Bomdila

  • Stop at Jang waterfall, also known as Nuranang Waterfall

  • Admire the 100-meter majestic waterfall

  • Proceed to Bomdila and settle in for the night

  • Optional: Explore Bomdila's local market

  • Reflect on the day's adventures in Bomdila

Day 08

Bomdila- Guwahati (280km/8hours)

  • Depart in early morning for Guwahati

  • Return journey via scenic Rupa Valley route

  • Enjoy mesmerizing beauty of natural landscapes once more

  • Arrival in Guwahati

  • Drop-off at airport, rail station, or hotel

  • Carry sweet memories of Northeast India

  • Cherish experiences and connections made

  • Safe travels and fond farewells

Inclusion and Exclusion

Inclusion

  • Accommodation as mentioned sharing basis and mentioned meal plan.

  • All transportation will be organized by us through an dedicated air-conditioned vehicle with a professional driver.

  • Breakfast is included in the package.

  • Inner Line Permit for Arunachal Pradesh and processing fees cost is included.

  • Cost of 1 jeep safari with a dedicated jeep in Kaziranga National Park is included in the package.

  • Cost of 1 elephant safari in a shared elephant ride in Kaziranga National Park, subjected to availability, is included in the package.

  • Pickup and drop from Guwahati Airport / Railway station/Bus station.

  • All sightseeing, land transfer & inter hotel transfer.

  • Driver allowance, Toll, Parking, Road Tax, Fuel charge, night halt, Interstate charges, Kaziranga Forest toll and forest guard welfare fees are included.

  • Child below 5 yrs sharing same bed with parents will be complimentary and will be according to hotel rules.

Exclusion

  • All personal expenses including all other activities not mentioned in the itinerary.

  • Meals those not available on the itinerary.

  • 5% GST will be charged on the total cost.

  • Optional around Tawang sightseeing (Bumla Pass, PTSO Lake, Naghula Lake, Sangester Lake etc.) taxi fare is not included in the package (Mandatory local taxi required for sightseeing).

  • Entry fees of sightseeing spots, camera fees and optional activity/service costs like Rafting, Trekking, Guide fees etc are not included in the package.

  • Anything not mentioned in the ‘Inclusions’ part.

  • For Foreign Nationals, surcharges like national park entry fees, Protected Area Permit and mandatory guide fees (for Arunachal State trips) are excluded.

Terms and Conditions

  • Rates are calculated based on the hotels mentioned.

  • Explore Tawang assures there are NO HIDDEN CHARGES at Paradise Northeast.

  • If anyone requests extra payment during your journey, please inform us immediately. We cannot be held responsible if you pay without our knowledge and consent.

  • Booking confirmation requires advance payment.

  • If rooms at specified hotels are unavailable, we will notify you and offer alternative options.

  • If you are unsatisfied with the alternatives, we will refund your advance payment after deducting a service charge of INR 1,000.

  • Hotels are chosen according to your budget and our feedback system.

  • Star category hotels may not be available everywhere, but we provide the best options based on your tour category.

  • Some hotels may have special tariffs for gala/dinner events like Christmas or New Year's Eve. Additional charges are not included in the package cost.

  • The dedicated vehicle is provided for your itinerary only; it is not at your disposal.

  • Tawang's local laws prohibit outside vehicles for sightseeing. We may need to arrange a local vehicle, but we cannot guarantee its quality.

  • Credit cards/traveler's checks may not be accepted everywhere.

  • Roof carriers are not permitted in vehicles in this region; pack luggage accordingly.

  • Check the weather of your destinations and pack appropriate clothing.

  • Woolen clothes, jackets, raincoats/umbrellas are advisable.

  • Review hotel locations and ratings to ensure they meet your preferences before confirming.

  • Any extra breakfast for kids not mentioned must be paid directly by the guest as per hotel policy.

  • Explore Tawang reserves the right to upgrade hotel or vehicle type at no extra charge, but we never downgrade.

  • Guests must present original photo identification like Passport, Voter ID Card, or Driving License at hotel check-in.

  • Rates on the website are subject to change due to various reasons. For an accurate quotation, provide exact tour dates.

  • Normal hotel check-in is 2 PM and check-out is 11 AM, subject to change per hotel policies. Meal timings and inclusions follow hotel policies.
